The Ninth Annual Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) has selected Angela Diaz, MD, Ph.D., MPH, director of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center, as an honoree at its second annual Salute to African Americans in Medicine, which will be held during the HFAS opening night on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the historic Riverside Church of New York.

The Salute to African Americans in Medicine was created to recognize outstanding medical talent in the tri-state area.  Each physician or administrator was selected for their contribution to the medical field and their outreach in the African American community.  The Salute is a precursor to HFAS’s ninth annual traveling show and exhibition in New York City and takes place during the opening night reception.
